At Sprout & Shine Nutrition, we are dedicated to enhancing pediatric and family health through evidence-based nutrition interventions. Founded by Port Perry local Dianna Scott, a Registered Dietitian with a focus on pediatric clinical nutrition, our objective is to facilitate the development of healthy dietary patterns and support long-term well-being for children and their families.

Sprout & Shine Nutrition's Founder

Dianna Scott (Yanchis).

Dianna Scott is a Registered Dietitian with extensive expertise in pediatric clinical nutrition. Dianna's practice focuses on delivering scientifically grounded, individualized dietary interventions to support optimal growth and development.

Dianna Scott established Sprout & Shine Nutrition in 2024, driven by her passion for the role of nutrition in health and disease. She completed her honours degree at Western University, followed by a comprehensive dietetic internship at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dianna further enhanced her expertise with a Master’s in Nutritional Sciences from The University of Toronto.

Her professional journey includes a significant tenure at The Hospital for Sick Children, where she specialized in a range of pediatric subspecialties, including Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Cardiology, Genetics and Metabolics, Diabetes, Lipid Clinic, and Rheumatology. Dianna currently contributes to the GIFT (Group for Improvement of Intestinal Function and Treatment) and Home Parenteral Nutrition programs.

With nearly a decade of experience in pediatric nutrition, Dianna founded Sprout & Shine Nutrition to address the need for high-quality, research-driven nutrition counseling and education within the community. Our objective is to provide families with scientifically validated nutrition programs that promote healthy growth trajectories and foster enduring, positive dietary behaviours in children.
